KIKO | Two Sale Purchases

Kiko is a brand that I've known about for a little while but only paid proper attention to since their Nottingham store opened a couple of months ago. It is often ridiculously busy in the store so I am yet to have a thorough browse and spending spree in there, but I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to grab a bargain in their sale the other day! As I still haven’t explored the brand properly I didn't have any items that I was particularly looking for and I only picked up two bits but I thought I would share them with you regardless, especially as I am super excited about one of them!

Hydrating Hand Fluid, £5.90 (Sale price £2.90)

I’ll show you the less exciting product first, which I picked up because the name intrigued me. The Hydrating Hand Fluid sounded a bit different to hand creams I've used in the past and the name describes the texture perfectly as it definitely couldn't be described as a hand cream but it will do the job of keeping my hands hydrated on the go (I plan on keeping this in my hand bag and keeping my ultra-pricey Arbonne hand cream at home).

Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter, £8.50 (Sale price £4.20)

Now onto the exciting product: the Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter. I’m on a bit of a highlighter-hype at the moment (anyone else devastated that they can’t get Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop here?!) so I had to swatch this product in all shades. I originally headed for the till with the shade 101 Rose in my hand but changed my mind at the last minute. 101 Rose was slightly pinky-toned, as the name suggests, and I swapped it for 100 Gold which is your typical champagne coloured highlight. While I initially thought 101 Rose would be great to try as it is very different to my other highlighters, I didn’t want to go for something too pinky as I already struggle with very red cheeks and I didn’t want to risk emphasising that with a pink-toned product. The colour of 100 Gold slightly reminds me of Becca’s moonstone (my all-time favourite highlight) and I really wanted to try it as I’ve never used a stick highlight before so thought I’d give it a go to achieve that glow…yes, I just said that.

Have you tried either of these products from KIKO cosmetics? What are your favourite products from the brand? Let me know in the comments, I need to grow my KIKO collection!
